Paula Paula PaulaPaula Patton is an actress and producer well known for her starring roles in the action film Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol as well as the dramatic film Precious. She grew up in an upper middle-class family living in Los Angeles and had big dreams for her future. Her mother enjoyed watching films and inculcated a love for films into her child and also. Paula participated in co-curricular school activities, and she was particularly interested in drama. Paula loved playing the role of an actor with her friends and participated in the school's stage productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School offered her numerous opportunities to act in high school. She also decided to take up acting as a career. She was in the University of Southern Cali's Summer program and benefited from the experience to death. She was assigned a 3 month project to create documentary films for PBS. Once she had completed the project, she started being an assistant in the production of TV documentaries. After that, she began producing documentaries. Although she was awed by the work, she yearned to be an actress. In the romantic comedy Hitch she played a small role alongside Will Smith. In the years since, she's appeared in numerous popular films and television shows.
